Fire Services


The Fire Services of Saint-Georges-de-Clarenceville/Noyan was founded in the early 1950`s  and is managed by the Fire Chief, Mr Peter Clark, who is employed full time and is in charge of the operations.  It should be mentioned that Mr Clark is a 4th generation family member to work as a firefighter for the Municipality and he has been for 40 years.

The team is comprised of 25 on-call fire fighters of which 13 are qualified as first responders.

The Service possesses 4 trucks and 1 first responder vehicle.

The Fire Services station is located at 103 Principale Street.

Reglement 425


A Mutual Aid agreement for the protection against fires reached between the municipalities of Venise-en-Québec, Saint-Sébastien, Henryville, Lacolle, Bedford and Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

The objective of this agreement is to enable each participating municipality to provide assistance, when additional resources are needed, to all other participating municipalities according to stipulations stated in the agreement. As well, there are cross-border agreements with firefighters of American municipalities in the counties of Franklin and Grand Isle in Vermont, and the municipality of Champlain in New York state.
