Clarenceville est admise pour recevoir une subvention issue du fonds d'accessibilité pour un montant maximum de 100 000 $

Clarenceville, le jeudi 19 janvier 2023 – La Municipalité de Clarenceville est heureuse d’annoncer qu’elle est admise pour recevoir une subvention d’un montant maximum de 100 000 $ dans le cadre du Fonds pour l’accessibilité 2022 (FA) – composante des projets de petite envergure.

Grâce à cette aide gouvernementale, la Municipalité améliorera les entrées de l’hôtel de ville et du centre communautaire afin de les rendre accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite.

Concrètement, il s’agira de refaire une rampe extérieure avec un abri au centre communautaire et pour l’hôtel de ville d’installer une main courante avec un bouton poussoir pour déclencher l’ouverture de la porte. Ces travaux coûteront environ 136 000 $ hors taxes. La subvention viendra diminuer les coûts de ces deux projets. Le montant de la subvention sera déterminé en fonction de la réalisation des travaux.

La Municipalité qui tient à être inclusive et faciliter l’accès aux bâtiments municipaux à tous ces citoyens et cette subvention permettra la réalisation de ces améliorations importantes.

CLARENCEVILLE IS ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE A GRANT FROM THE ACCESSIBILITY FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF UP TO $100,000

Clarenceville, Thursday, January 19, 2023 - The Municipality of Clarenceville is pleased to announce that it has been approved for a grant of up to $100,000 under the Enabling Accessibility Fund 2022 (EAF) - Small Project Component.

With this government assistance, the Municipality will improve the entrances to City Hall and the Community Centre to make them accessible to persons with reduced mobility.

Specifically, the work will include the installation of an exterior ramp with a shelter at the community center and the installation of a handrail with a push button to open the door at City Hall. This work will cost approximately $136,000 excluding taxes. The grant will reduce the cost of these two projects. The amount of the grant will be determined based on the completion of the work.

The Municipality is committed to being inclusive and facilitating access to municipal buildings for all its citizens and this grant will allow for the completion of these important improvements.
